Camp Fire USA West Michigan Council is a nonprofit youth development agency that serves youth from kindergarten through highschool. Our mission is to build caring, confident youth and future leaders, which we do through programs that help youth build selfesteem, make healthy choices, learn teamwork, leadership and social responsibility. Since 1995 Camp Fire USA has provided children and youth living in low-income, at-risk neighborhoods across Grand Rapids with afterschool and summer youth development programs. AmeriCorps members play an integral role in expanding the capacity of Camp Fire programs to serve additional children and create new program sites.
