Dear Friends,

A century ago, our founder, Dr. Gulick said, "A community must prepare children for the business of living in the new world." This statement is still true today. As a community, we must support our children and prepare them for their future. This is why Camp Fire USA is committed to building caring, confident youth, and future leaders.

Through games, tutoring, poetry, and art projects, boys and girls (ages 5-12) are kept busy learning and having fun. Our free after school program continues to provide children and youth a safe and supportive place to go after school while their parents or guardians are working or searching for employment.  

Kelsey is one of our after school kids and she reflects on what she is thankful for: “I’m thankful for Ms. Angie (Camp Fire Staff) because whenever I was sad she would always make sure I was alright. I am also thankful because she helps us read and learn. Thank you for filling the space in my heart.”
